Frequently Asked Questions

Product Information

  • What can I use my Onda bottle for?
  • Almost everything! Onda bottles are perfect for refreshing cold drinks including infused water, iced tea/coffee, smoothies and cocktails (great for a mojito!) as well as hot drinks like coffee and tea. Our double glass walled design helps ensure your drink remains hot (or cold) for longer.
  • Will the Onda bottle break easily?
  • Onda bottles are made of high strength borosilicate glass. This is the stuff used in lab experiments. The thicker outer layer also adds extra durability, so you can feel confident using the Onda bottle in all parts of your day. Ultimately, it is a glass bottle and despite having far more resilience than most glass bottles on the market - it may crack if it isn't cared for properly.
  • Will the Onda logo rub off or fade?
  • The Onda logo has been printed on the inner glass wall, so it will not be subject to any external exposure. Your Onda logo will still be there to look on for years to come!
  • Where are Onda products made?
  • We’ve partnered with a supplier in Zhejiang China and built a great relationship with the team there. The production process our partners use creates very little pollution, due to no chemicals being used. Rather, our bottles are produced under a very high temperature moulding technique.
  • Where is the bamboo from?
  • The origin of the bamboo is the Huzhou Mountains, well known as a thriving environment for high quality bamboo. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable resource of the 21st century.
  • What size do the Onda bottles come in?
  • Our two Onda O Series bottles are 350ml and 450ml currently. This is the size with the infuser cage inside the bottle. If you have the cage removed (for anything other than tea) the capacity is ~35ml extra.
  • Will my Onda bottle sweat?
  • Our unique double walled design minimises any sweating.
  • Is the Onda bottle too hot to hold when it has boiling water inside it?
  • This is thanks to the unique double walled design and high quality, heat-resistant borosilicate glass. This is the stuff used in lab experiments.
  • What are Onda products made of?
  • We take pride in using the best materials available in our Onda bottles. That is, 100% A - grade borosilicate glass, food-grade quality stainless steel and natural bamboo.
